Position Summary

Utilizes clinical services and operational data to assess outcomes and effectiveness associated with MHCD’s service programs and operational processes. Collects data to answer research and operations questions that may arise from management and staff. Develops summative and formative analytics and evaluation reports for delivery to staff, management, and external stakeholders.

Essential job functions

  1. Collects and prepares data for reporting as required under the research or evaluation plan using SQL and Excel.
  2. Conducts analyses using SQL, Excel, and R
  3. Prepares and submits analytic, research, and/or evaluation reports as needed
  4. Develops presentations and documents
  5. Writes sections of grants, papers, and other research materials
  6. Interacts with managers and staff to review and edit reports as needed
  7. Other duties as assigned.

Education: Bachelor’s degree in statistics, social or behavioral research, or another related field preferred, Technical, analytical, research, and evalution experience acceptable.

 Experience: Minimum of one-year experience with statistical analyses, data collection and processing, andor program evaluation within a healthcare environment.

Skills and Competencies:

  1. Proficiency with T-SQL and R.
  2. Proficiency with basic statistical techniques and data wrangling methods
  3. Ability to communicate with both technical and non-technical audiences.
  4. Commitment to high quality research and analyses.

Ability to organize and prioritize work, handle multiple assignments, and meet deadlines in an agile development environment.
