Job Description

POSITION SUMMARY: Assist Controller in accounting practices, maintenance of fiscal records and preparation of financial reports. Helps Controller with assignments including accounting, rolling forecast, monthly financial reporting, internal and external auditing, annual budget and cost report preparation. Assists in analyzing financial results, account reconciliations, debt covenant calculations and other external financial reporting.

SALARY RANGE: $85,000/yr. - $95,000/yr. 


  • Prepare and Manage the continued development of Budgeting, Financial Forecasting, and Modeling tools
  • Assist in monthly account reconciliations and review
  • Prepare monthly and quarterly consolidated financial statements
  • Assist in preparation of external audit work papers
  • Preparation of regulatory and tax reporting
  • Preparation of annual cost report
  • Prepare debt covenant calculations and required financial reporting per the debt covenants
  • Ad-Hoc Reporting and Analysis
  • Assist with maintaining the general ledger system
  • Analyze and educate management related to financial reporting process and variances
  • Perform other duties as assigned


Job Requirements

EDUCATION:   Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or equivalent experience. CPA is preferred.            

EXPERIENCE: Minimum of five years current financial experience.          

SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES: Proven knowledge of financial forecasting and diagnosis, corporate finance and information analysis. Proficient in spreadsheets, databases, MS Office and financial software applications. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Must be able to work with a high standard of accuracy and precision and be well organized. Utilize discretion and maintain confidential business and financial information.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: Assist in supervising Accounting Staff.

MACHINES AND EQUIPMENT TO BE USED: Computers, calculators, fax machines, copiers, telephone and a variety of other office/clerical equipment.

TYPICAL PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Requires sitting, standing, bending and reaching. May require lifting to 50 pounds.   Requires manual dexterity sufficient to operate standard office machines such as computers, fax machines, the telephone and other office and/or clinical equipment.

WORKING CONDITIONS: May require occasional evening or weekend hours.
